Partner is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California with over 25 years of financial accounting and reporting experience. His background includes senior level finance positions in both private and public companies. He was an audit partner for a local CPA firm in Newport Beach, CA for nine years serving a variety of clients including retail, technology, construction and engineering, distribution and professional service industries. Partner has been a National Practice Director for an international professional services firm serving as national technical finance and accounting subject matter expert. He has assisted clients in internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley, merger and acquisitions, large scale system implementations and performance measurement consulting. He holds a B.A. degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach and a MBA from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA. He is a member of the California Society of Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is also a part-time accounting professor at California State University – Fullerton.
Jesse Rosas
Jess is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California. He is a former Senior Principal with Arthur Andersen, and more recently served as a National Practice Director for an international professional services firm providing internal audit services and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance services to Fortune 500 companies. As a director, Jess was also a firm wide subject matter expert on FAS 109 and has extensive experience in Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation, internal controls documentation and risk assessment, testing and process improvement of the income tax reporting function for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Jess has experience with the PCAOB and Big 4 Public accounting audit & testing methodologies relating to Sarbanes-Oxley.
He has been a frequent presenter to various financial and tax executives on FAS 109, and Sarbanes-Oxley. Jess’ background also consists of experience providing strategic federal, multi-state and international tax planning, tax process reengineering and compliance services for corporations, partnerships, individuals and not-for-profit organizations in a variety of settings including start-ups, mergers & acquisitions, reorganizations, and liquidations. He also has extensive experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state taxing authorities in large case audits of Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
